Doug McKeever
Board Member
A longtime friend of founder Kellie Plucinski, Doug first connected with the organization through the recovery community. He began serving as a recovery buddy in late 2024 and officially joined the board in early 2025, drawn by the chance to help individuals in early recovery find stable housing and lasting hope.
With more than ten years of sobriety, Doug brings lived experience and a deep passion for the recovery buddy role. He walks alongside grantees during that critical first month, building real relationships, offering accountability, and simply being present as they adjust to sober living. For Doug, those connections are everything. “It’s the relationships,” he says. “That’s what’s been the most beneficial for me.”
On the board, Doug contributes to fundraising, event planning, strategy, and outreach - whatever it takes to expand the mission and reach more people who need support. Both he and his company have sponsored nearly every All for Recovery event; he is President and owner of Woodmac Incorporated, a family-owned underground utility construction company serving Maryland, West Virginia, and the greater Washington, D.C. area. Doug remains deeply committed to the mission and knows firsthand how a single month of stable housing can save lives by keeping people off the streets and giving them a real foundation for lasting recovery.
Doug is a proud Sherwood High School alumnus from Brinklow, Maryland. His parents still live in the area, and he enjoys working out, reading, spending time at the lakehouse, paddleboarding on the water, and - most of all - time with family. He is honored to be part of a team that gives people in early recovery the safe housing and community they deserve
